When I think to Japan, the first words that come in my mind are: Fuji Mountain, geisha, samurai, sumo wrestlers, bonsai, Tokyo`s crowded streets filled with neon signs, Japanese cartoon characters and, not least, cherry blossoms.
Japan is a country full of natural beauty, from winter festivals and lavender farms in the northern island of Hokkaido, to the sunny beaches in the south. Whether you choose to climb Fuji Mountain or to relax in a volcanic spa, Japan is an unforgettable travel destination.
Nearly 10 million tourists arrive annually in Japan to admire the beauty and wealth of the country. Japan can be proud of many tourist, cultural, natural and artistic attractions; many were added to the World Heritage List. These sights are famous worldwide, so if you are traveling to Japan do not miss them.
Spring (March to May) is the season of Sakura, cherry blossoms, probably the most celebrated season; also Golden Week (April 29 to May 7) is a time of celebration, many tourist destinations being overcrowded. Autumn (September to November) is an excellent season for travel – temperatures are pleasant and the Japan`s colours are fantastic. The middle of winter (December to February) can be very cold, while the summer (June-August) can be really hot.
So, if you gonna ask me why I love Japan, my answer is simple. Take a look at the following photos and you will definitely take the first plane to Tokyo. Enjoy!
